MAIN FEATURES OF OUR BED BUG RIDDANCE PROGRAM

USING MULTIPLE METHODS

We use long lasting professional preparations to identify hiding spots and ensure methods used provide full termination coverage. Careful consideration is taken to ensure that this is done
effectively throughout the treatment.

USING PROFESSIONAL GRADE TRAPS

Professional grade moth traps are at least TWICE as potent. These are different to consumer grade variants. When used effectively they provide an effective treatment against moth activity.

INSPECTING AND MONITORING THOROUGHLY

Inspecting and monitoring the premises is very important as we zone in on activity. Monitoring the consumption of insecticides and ensuring the treatments stay effective means your problem is solved quicker.

BED BUG CONTROL F.A.Q'S

Q: BEST CONTROL METHOD?

A tailored approach is best. Factors include the length of the infestation, severity of the problem and various other factors. Heat treatments are just as good as spray treatments or a combination of both.

Q: HOW LONG DO THEY LIVE?

The life span of a bed bug most commonly ranges from four to six months. However, some bed bugs may live up to a year under cool conditions and with no food.

Q: FIRST SIGNS OF ACTIVITY?

Normally the first signs are when people in a household start getting bitten. Bites are not usually found straight away as bed bugs release an anaesthetic which affects some people more than others. Other signs may also be noticing spots of blood on lighter coloured sheets.

Q: HOW QUICKLY DO THEY BREED?

A female bed bug will produce between 1- 7 eggs per day for about 10 days after a single blood meal. She will then have to feed again to produce more eggs. A female can produce between 5 and 20 eggs from a single blood meal.

Q: COST TO GET PEST CONTROL?

Treatment prices depend of whether sprays or a heat treatment is required. Once the level of activity is inspected a quote can be supplied.

Q: HOW TO PREVENT THEM?

Thoroughly check second furniture and items you bring into your home. Keep your home well vacuumed regularly. Seal cracks and crevices over time to stop activity coming into your home from neighbouring properties.
