MAIN FEATURES OF OUR FLIES RIDDANCE PROGRAM

FINDING AND BLOCKING INGRESS POINTS

We use long lasting professional preparations to identify and seal up openings that flies are using to get in and out of your living space. Careful consideration is taken to ensure that this is done effectively throughout the treatment.

USING PROFESSIONAL GRADE INSECTICIDES

Professional grade insecticides are at least TWICE as potent. These are different to consumer grade variants. When used effectively they provide an effective treatment against fly activity.

INSPECTING AND MONITORING THOROUGHLY

Inspecting and monitoring the premises is very important as we zone in on activity. Monitoring the consumption of insecticides and ensuring the treatments stay effective means your problem is solved quicker.

flies CONTROL F.A.Q'S

Q: BEST CONTROL METHOD?

In most cases, the pest controller applies an aerosol spray that would require no one being in that room for 2 hours. Inspections will also take place to identify the cause of the issue. Surface sprays are also very good as it continues to work so long as it's not mopped away..

Q: HOW LONG DO THEY LIVE?

The average lifespan of a housefly is between 20-25 days, but they can live up to a month. After maggots appear in a home, adult flies usually appear 1 to 2 weeks later. The flies may continue to emerge for 1 to 3 weeks.

Q: FIRST SIGNS OF ACTIVITY?

Small dark clusters of spots in light areas (the size of a pinhead). Regular sighting of flies around your home, food or bins; and maggots (these are flies in their larval stage) could indicate a potential breeding site on your property.

Q: HOW QUICKLY DO THEY BREED?

Females will begin producing eggs 48 hours after they have emerged as an adult. During her adult life, approximately 1-3 months, she is capable of producing 4-5 batches of 100-150 eggs. These hatch within 48 hours

Q: COST TO GET PEST CONTROL?

An estimate of the cost of removing houseflies will depend on how widespread the infestation is. When an infestation is severe, you may have to spend between £150 and £200, and the treatment can take several hours.

Q: HOW TO PREVENT THEM?

Like any pest, flies will stay as close to a food source as possible. Avoid leaving food outside or on worktops. Ensure your food is stored in sealed containers or cupboards and keep your surfaces clean. Also ensure that you regularly check unused spaces in your property.
